HydroFloss Review

September 1st, 2010

Hi David,

Just wanted to let you know about my success! Thanks to finding you through Twitter and ordering the Hyrofloss, my gums are healing very nicely. I actually had an abscess that came on so quickly. It was gross and painful. I have to admit I had gotten lax on the irrigation on my gums and that was a big mistake! However, I am back on track now.

Anyway, I am proof that the hydrofloss works. I signed up for the Toothy Grins Shareasale links and banners. Your book has some great articles at the end and I will enjoy sharing this with the public. Also, I would be interested in the other resources for promotion that you mentioned on our call.

Hi Sharron,

I’m delighted to hear of your success with the Hydro Floss! And thank you for the kudos on my book as well.

Yes, those articles can be used to inform the public about the problem of gum disease and what they can do about it at home. There are special rules for using those articles but they are clearly listed in the book.

I hope that more people can learn about the power of the HydroFloss to help them with their dental health

This problem of gum disease, as you know is a very big problem. One of the complicating factors is that many people have it but they do not think they do or they believe that they don’t because their dentist has never said anything to them. Unfortunately, as one dentist put it: “Many people are headed for gum surgery and do not even know it.” That is for sure.

Periodontal care is a multi-billion dollar business. If you have ever visited the lobby of a periodontist you may begin to realize how true that is. At any rate Sharron – thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience with the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator

Hydro Floss Affiliate Program

July 27th, 2010

Would you like to spread the Good News about the Hydro Floss and get paid to do so?

Now you can. Just go to ToothyGrinsStore.com and look at the bottom of the page for the link to the affiliate program or just click here.

As you may already know, the Hydro Floss is the best oral irrigator with the proven ability to reduce plaque and tartar build up between office visits.

This was proven in two studies published in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology. These studies also demonstrated that other irrigators without the patented technology do not have the effectiveness of the Hydro Floss in regards to reducing plaque and tartar build up between office visits.

Now you can help people find a tool that gives them a little bit more control over their dental health. Some people, including myself, were able to escape the dreaded SRP or ‘deep cleaning’ treatments that have become so popular today.

With a $100 device, someone could potentially save themselves thousands of dollars in expensive dental health bills. What could be better? Of course, each person should be under the care of their dentist or periodontist and continue to go in for regular checkups.

However, once again, what if each person could save themselves from the expensive advanced treatments. When you consider deep cleanings, gum surgeries, grafting techniques, and a host of other painful and expensive treatments the savings could be enormous!

Unfortunately many people, it could even be said the majority of people currently suffer from some form of gum disease. And many of them do not even know it. They are often shocked and surprised when things get bad and the dentist tells them they need an expensive treatment! Therefore, they may be looking for answers in order to prevent advanced treatments, recovery, pain and perhaps most of all: EXPENSE!.

This tool has been around for 20 years, yet many do not yet know about it. Now, you have a chance to really do them a service and get paid to do so!

Obama Mentions Gum Disease and Heart Disease…

February 19th, 2010

I did not see the President’s speech at all, but I can see by the activity on twitter that he mentioned the relationship between gum disease and heart disease and something about flossing.

While flossing is certainly a useful practice and everyone SHOULD floss and brush daily, it is important to note that flossing and brushing are not always enough to prevent gum disease. In fact, chances are that many people will develop the disease anyway.

How do I know this? I know by the statistics that dental professionals agree upon. Up to 75% of people in the United States have some gum disease Right NOW!

While Mr. Obama is correct in that researchers have noted this connection, he may not be aware that flossing might not be the ultimate solution to stopping or preventing gum disease.

However, I’m very delighted that he mentioned the connection and I hope that people will soon learn that there are many other connections between gum disease and other diseases too!

Oral Irrigation Can Save Your Dental Health…

February 4th, 2010

HydroFlossCI find it to be surprising the number of people I hear from and the benefits they get from oral irrigation. However, these folks are not just using any old oral irrigator.

Irrigators are not all created equal. Some have a special technology that allows them to reduce more plaque build up than others.

The principle behind reducing plaque is very simple. Actually, reducing it isn’t actually the goal, although reducing it does help.

You see, plaque is a very mundane term for something that is a bit more insidious when explained. Plaque is a alive! It is a living biofilm made up of a number of substances, the worst for us being bacteria.

The plaque creates a problem for us human beings. Since it is a film, it produces a more or less airtight space. It is in this space that something terrible happens. Some bacteria, when they do not have oxygen, revert to a form of metabolism called ‘anaerobic’.

This form of metabolism is harmful to the human host because of the toxic byproducts that come from it. These acidic, toxic substances can harm our dental enamel and our gum tissue.

This explains the reason why you have been told to brush and floss daily. Trouble is, that may not be enough. The proof is in what dental health care professional and public health workers know. Statistics say that up to 75% of people have some form of gum disease in their mouth right now!

It is staggering when you think about it. Most people brush, fewer floss, but even if you do both, you may be headed for trouble.

Gum disease can lead to tooth loss and researchers suspect that it can lead to many systemic diseases such as heart attacks and stroke.

Interesting Story Involving the Hydro Floss…

December 11th, 2009

This is the story of an interesting call that I received. I

I have been selling the Hydro Floss at the Toothy Grins Store for a few months and I receive a call from a man in Michigan. He just heard about the Hydro Floss from his dental hygienist a few days prior.

However, the REALLY interesting part is that this gentleman works in public health! He said he has two good friends that he went to college with. One is an oral surgeon and the other is a periodontist.

After he brought up the Hydro Floss to them. They both said they personally use it. I thought that was interesting and telling all by itself.

But what he said next really got me thinking. He said that the oral surgeon also uses the Pocket Pal Jet Tips as a PREVENTIVE measure to protect her gum health!

I thought I would share that interesting tidbit because I think it reveals a new secret to using the hydro floss that many have not thought of.

Hydro Floss User Insight…

November 14th, 2009

Since I have begun selling the Hydro Floss oral Irrigator at the Toothy Grins Store, I have had the good fortune to speak to many people.

A very interesting conversation occurred this past week. A gentleman from Minnesota called me and we had quite the conversation.

He was looking to purchase a hydro floss for his own use. I typically ask people if they have used one before and I have grown use to people telling me how much they like the hydro floss and how it has helped them personally.

This time, a slightly different story came forth. He was initially told about the Hydro Floss by his hygienist. This is not unusual at all, many dentists and hygienists recommend the Hydro Floss to their patients.

But he took things one step further. He has two friends, one is a periodontist and one is an oral surgeon and he asked them both about this device. He was surprised to hear that they both personally use the hydro floss.

But the oral surgeon did something a little differently and it was an eye opener for me. It is one of those moments when the ‘light bulb’ goes on.

She also uses the Pocket Pal Jet Tips. This surprised me because I had believed the Pocket Pal’s were only needed for people who had 5 to 6 mm pockets. Well, you can bet this person, an expert on oral health has gums that are in good shape. SHE uses the pocket pals as a preventive measure.

I hadn’t considered this before. While the regular tips are made to be used at right angles to the teeth and gums. The pocket pals are used to shoot water directly into the pockets.

So, I thought something like, “It makes sense to use them to maintain / improve the health of gum tissue”. Since that conversation, I’ve been using the pocket pal jet tip after my regular use of the Hydro Floss and I think it is a good practice for me personally!
